Kick Your Skin Care Routine Up a Notch – With HydraFacial Treatments in Bend, OR

Clean, smooth, hydrated skin brings great satisfaction. You already pay attention to your skin care, but what’s the next step? HydraFacial™ is a treatment that leaves you feeling and looking refreshed. The experience of HydraFacial is as rewarding as a good massage. DermaSpa at Bend Dermatology Clinic offers tailored HydraFacial treatments to spoil and reward you.

HydraFacial Basics

HydraFacial is an in-office medical-grade facial treatment that is non-invasive and virtually painless. It is also called a hydradermabrasion treatment which uses Vortex Fusion Technology to gently and effectively remove a layer of dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while hydrating and soothing your skin. Its patented technology includes three steps:

Step 1: Cleanse and peel –uncovers a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing.

Step 2: Extract and hydrate – a strong, painless vacuum suction removes debris, blackheads, and impurities safely from pores while hydrating your skin simultaneously.

Step 3: Fuse and protect – this part of the treatment infuses serums explicitly selected for your skin type and skin care goals to maximize your glow.

The Signature HydraFacial treatment option takes only 30 minutes, making it convenient for most people’s schedules. It has been shown to help with a variety of skin issues, including:

  • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
  • Lightening dark spots and patches
  • Cleaning clogged pores
  • Reducing enlarged pores
  • clearing up mild acne
  • Refining skin texture
  • Improving elasticity and firmness.

The HydraFacial Advantage

Right off the top, HydraFacial works on all skin types because it is much gentler on your skin. It is a very customizable treatment, so you and your Certified Advanced Aesthetician can personalize it to your skin type and goals. Once you finish your treatment, you can immediately see the results. Your skin will feel smoother and look brighter, with results lasting longer than a regular facial. Plus, there is no downtime associated with the treatment. You can go back to your daily routine immediately. We recommend avoiding makeup for the rest of the day, giving your skin a chance to soak up the moisturizing effects. Lastly, HydraFacial can be used on other parts of the body – it’s also great for places like your neck, décolleté, hands, arms, and back.

How does HydraFacial compare to treatments such as chemical peels and microdermabrasion? Both of these methods also resurface and exfoliate your skin. Microdermabrasion uses an abrasive and suction to exfoliate, and chemical peels use a chemical solution such as glycolic acid to remove the top layer of skin. While both are effective, they can be irritating to some skin types. HydraFacial is a softer approach since it uses water as an exfoliating medium. All three methods have different advantages, and it is best to consult your Provider to select the best plan for your skin.

HydraFacial Treatments Bend Dermatology Clinic Offers

DermaSpa offers three different treatment options, with each successive treatment adding a therapy that will enhance the effects on your skin.

Signature HydraFacial – a customizable procedure that uses the patented Vortex-Fusion technology to cleanse, extract, hydrate, and infuse the skin with anti-aging peptides, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid.

Deluxe HydraFacial – gives you all the benefits of the Signature HydraFacial plus a customized super serum booster that targets specific skin concerns. A relaxing and rejuvenating LED light treatment for a more corrective experience is also a part of this therapy. LED treatments have been known to improve various skin conditions, including acne, psoriasis, and sun damage, and studies have shown they aid in the production of collagen.

Platinum HydraFacial– the full detox HydraFacial. This option incorporates lymphatic drainage to detoxify and reduce inflammation in addition to all the preventive and corrective benefits of the Deluxe HydraFacial. Lymphatic drainage is a specialized massage therapy that can help reduce puffiness, redness, and irritation.

Kicking it up a Notch

One of HydraFacial’s advantages is its ability to enhance the results of other complementary treatments. Here are some examples of complementary treatments that can help give you better results.

  • BOTOX® Cosmetic will smooth out lines and wrinkles.
  • Fillers, including any in the JUVEDERM® family, as well as Radiesse® and Restylane®, will help you achieve smoother and plumper skin.
  • Microneedling helps increase collagen production, improves skin tone and texture, and smooths out fine lines and wrinkles.

It is not recommended to undergo all these treatments on the same day. Please consult your Provider or Aesthetician to develop a well-structured plan for scheduling your treatments appropriately.

Is HydraFacial right for you?

HydraFacial works for all skin types, but you should avoid the treatment if you have an active rash, sunburn, moderate to severe acne, or rosacea. If you are currently on Accutane, you might want to wait six months after you finish treatment before you get a HydraFacial treatment.

As always, discuss any conditions, including pregnancy, allergies, or medications, before any treatment.

Getting Great Results

The visible results of HydraFacial are immediate. The skin glow and excellent hydration can last from 5 to 7 days. We recommend treating yourself to a HydraFacial at least once a month to keep your skin glowing. If monthly treatments don’t fit your schedule or budget, one HydraFacial with the changing of the seasons can be very beneficial for your skin.

Just remember that HydraFacial is customizable to your needs. Work with one of our Certified Advanced Aestheticians to help you achieve your skin goals. HydraFacial will leave you much more refreshed, with smoother, fresher skin. And don’t we all want some of that?
