Born in Klamath Falls and raised in Tulelake, Alexandria (Lexie) Staub is a native of the Klamath Basin. After graduating from Tulelake High School, Lexie attended Boise State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then attended Idaho State University for PA school and graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. She joined Bend Dermatology shortly after PA school graduation to begin her career as a physician assistant. Lexie has received extensive additional training in the field of dermatology. She is passionate about counseling patients on their conditions and working collaboratively with them to devise a treatment plan that will benefit them the most. She enjoys both the visual and procedural aspects of dermatology.

As the great-granddaughter of a World War I Tulelake homesteader, Lexie’s roots in the Basin run deep. She is committed to providing top-quality dermatologic care to all of her patients in Southern Oregon, Northern California, and beyond. She considers it a privilege and a great responsibility to provide care to the community that helped raise her. Lexie’s goal is to go the extra mile for every patient.
In addition to her career, Lexie is a wife to Nick and a mother of three. She and her family can be found outside hiking, rafting, or houseboating on Shasta. During football season, she’s most likely to be seen cheering very loudly for the Boise State Broncos directly from the blue turf or her living room.

Lexie is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
