After high school, Lexie attended Boise State University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2015. During a gap year following college, she worked as a medical assistant in family practice, and also worked as a medical assistant for Bend Dermatology in our Klamath Falls office. It was during this time that Lexie developed a great interest in dermatology.
Lexie attended Idaho State University for PA school and graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in August 2018. She returned to Bend Dermatology shortly after graduation to begin her career as a physician assistant. Lexie is passionate about counseling patients on their conditions and working together with the patient to devise a treatment plan that will benefit them the most. She loves the visual aspect of dermatology and finds it very rewarding to clear patients of acne and rashes, as well as treating their lesions of concern.
Lexie is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Lexie’s supervising physician is Dr. Fridolin Hoesly.
In her free time, Lexie enjoys being outside with her husband Nick and dog Reagan, hiking, rafting, cooking, and cheering on her Boise State Broncos. She also enjoys bothering her friends and family to wear their sunscreen.
