With both his father and brother being physicians, Dr. May became interested in medicine at a young age. His interest in dermatology came later in college when he worked with a dermatologist in his hometown and realized that the skin can act as a window to what is going on inside the body. He truly enjoys the science of medicine and is happiest being able to help patients daily.

Dr. May has been asked to speak at multiple national dermatology meetings and has published several papers on dermatologic disease and therapy. His experiences from his volunteer medical trips to Kenya and Guatemala have taught him the importance of listening to the patient and treating accordingly.
