Liz Schmidt was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she graduated from Florida Atlantic University sum cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in biology. Throughout her undergraduate training, she worked as a dermatology medical assistant where she developed a passion for all things skin, hair, and nails.

After attaining her bachelor’s degree, she moved to Oregon and attended Pacific University School of Physician Assistant Studies, where she graduated with her master’s degree. During her clinical year, she focused her rotations with an emphasis on dermatology.

Upon graduation in 2016, she began working as a family practice practitioner in a community health clinic before beginning her career in dermatology in 2017. Liz is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

In her free time, Liz enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with her dog, Davey.
