Dr. Kristin Neuhaus joined Bend Dermatology in the Fall of 2013. Dr. Neuhaus is a Board Certified Dermatologist accepting new patients with a variety of skin conditions, such as skin cancer, acne, eczema, rashes, and psoriasis. Growing up in Lebanon, Oregon, Dr. Neuhaus developed an interest in medicine, first through veterinary work on the family farm. Her childhood family physician became her mentor and she worked with him in clinic and on house calls throughout high school and on college breaks until she started medical school. In medical school she fell in love with dermatology.
Bend keeps Dr. Neuhaus and her family very busy and engaged – on the water and golf courses in the Summer, and on the mountain in the Winter.
Dr. Neuhaus received her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Oregon. She was then accepted to Oregon Health Science University (OHSU) School of Medicine where she was invited to join the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society her junior year based on academic achievement. Dr. Neuhaus graduated summa cum laude, first in her medical school class.
After medical school, she completed a transitional year at Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. She then returned to OHSU Department of Dermatology for residency and was honored to serve as chief resident her final year.
